KDDI / SoftBank | Yes; sharing uses the purchased allowance. | Fixed Data Plan: 30 days, starting when the eSIM connects to a Japanese carrier. This row is not the separate Pay as You Go or Unlimited product. |
Evidence note — October 19, 2026: The rows report provider documents, not our hands-on network tests. A named network is not a speed or location guarantee, and hotspot permission is not unlimited shared data.
For a nine-day trip with hotspot: Nomad’s 30-day plan and Roamless’s 30-day fixed Data Plan pass the duration check; aloSIM has 10-, 15- and 30-day choices. A seven-day option does not cover all nine days. All three permit tethering, so choose the exact package by its listed network, allowance, start event and final price—not by a provider-wide rank.
